PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a wiper drive which can obtain a better driving environment by ensuring compatibility with respect to the contradictory request for eliminating trouble due to reflection of raindrop and eliminating the trouble due to drive of the wiper when controlling the wiper drive in rainfall. SOLUTION: The control device for the wiper drive monitors the presence of the reflection of raindrop of phenomenon wherein light is reflected diffusely due to the raindrop adhered to a windshield 10 under the condition wherein the adhesion of the raindrop to the windshield 10 is detected by an image pick-up device 20. The interval of drive of the wiper 41 when it is determined that there is no reflection of raindrop is set to be longer time than that of the drive of the wiper 41 when it is determined that there is the reflection of raindrop to control an intermittent drive of the wiper 41.
