PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting car seat location, where the exchange and the mounting of an air bag system can be easily performed, together with the prevention of the malfunctions of the air bag system. SOLUTION: The car seat location detecting device comprises a Hall sensor 40, which detects the target location due to magnetic flux change, a first power supply feed unit 20 which drives the Hall sensor 40 in an active period of a received driving voltage pulse, a second power supply feed unit 30 which supplies an auxiliary power supply feed signal for driving the Hall sensor 40 at a non-active period of the drive voltage pulse.
