PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a sheet of foamed material, which is improved in monitoring and controlling of a continuous foam molding process, and an apparatus used for the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the sheet of a foamed material includes (a) detecting an actual foaming profile of a given foam generating mixture in the direction parallel to the transfer direction of a conveyer belt, (b) deciding the correction variable of the foam molding process, as the function of differential from the reference foaming profile, of actual foaming profile of the foam generating mixture, and (c) adjusting the foam molding process by changing the correction variable so that the actual foaming profile of foam generating mixture will correspond with the reference foaming profile.
