PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a feeling of holding of a thin type portable device when used. SOLUTION: A second case 23 having an operation button group 29 and a transmitter microphone 30 is provided freely turnably with respect to a first case 22 having a camera part. A third case 24 having a display part 31 and a receiver 32 is provided freely turnably with respect to the second case 23 in the opposite direction from the second case 23. When an open button 28 is pressed down, the engagement of a slide hook linked to the open button 28 with a slide hook through hole of the second case 23 is released to turn the second case 23 by energizing force of a curved spring, making a second hinge part 26 project from the first case 22. Thus, the third case 24 is turnable at 180°or more without being interfered with a camera storage part of the first case 22. Then, this portable device is made thin when carried and on the other hand, the portable device is made thick when used, improving holding feeling.
