PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device which is capable of presenting title data as much as possible independently of the kinds of title data multiplexed to the multiplexed streams. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving device receives streams where the title data of CC608 and/or CC708 are superimposed through a digital broadcast program delivery and is equipped with a multiplexed data stream multiplexer unit which receives multiplexed streams containing image streams where the title data are superimposed, an image data developing unit, a title data extraction unit, a CC608 data storage unit, a CC708 data storage unit, a title data control main unit which controls CC608 data and CC708 data and judges the effective title data, a title OSD forming unit, an image data compounding unit, an OSD synthesis unit, and an NTSC encoder unit.
