PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a ventilated type brake disk having firmly unified two disks. SOLUTION: Two mating disks 1, 2 are individually formed by pressing and hardening sintering metal powder. Ribs 11, 21 extending in a radial direction are projectingly provided radially on one surfaces of both disks 1, 2. The both disks 1, 2 made of green compacts are combined in face to face to grip ribs 11a, 11b of the disk 1 by two ribs 21a, 21b of the disk 2.
