PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil passage structure capable of letting sufficient amount of oil flow and miniaturizing an internal combustion engine on the whole. SOLUTION: This oil passage structure of the internal combustion engine is constituted by providing an opening 9a of an oil passage 9 on a side face 3a of a cylinder head 3, fixing a mounting flange 10 on the side face 3a to cover the opening 9a, and providing a bypass oil passage 11 connected with the oil passage 9 on an internal wall of the mounting flange 10 to let oil flow in it. This structure enables arrangement of the oil passage with flexibility and improvement of flexibility with respect to design of an exhaust port on a cylinder head side. Since the structure is utilized by forming the oil passage in a flange part, the internal combustion engine can be miniaturized on the whole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
