PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reduction of power consumption of a stabilizer system for performing active roll control by controlling the operation of an actuator. SOLUTION: When speed increase of lateral acceleration of the vehicle becomes small (t<SB>1</SB>, t<SB>3</SB>), output torque of a motor corresponding to the lateral acceleration G<SB>1</SB>at a time t<SB>1</SB>is set based on reverse efficiency of the actuator and control for maintaining the output torque is executed. Thereafter, the power consumption of the motor is reduced by executing motor output maintaining control for maintaining the output torque until the lateral acceleration G exceeds upper limit lateral acceleration G<SB>max</SB>(t<SB>2</SB>) or becomes less than the minimum lateral acceleration G<SB>min</SB>(t<SB>4</SB>).
