PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device and a polishing method of a magnet, preventing polishing scar remaining on the outer peripheral edge part in a polishing process even in a small-sized magnet and improving the quality. SOLUTION: In this polishing device 10, ring members 16, 17 are integrally provided on the outer peripheral edge parts and the inner peripheral edge parts of the grinding wheels 11, 12. When a magnet M is delivered from a table 13 to the grinding wheels 11, 12, and when the magnet M is delivered from the grinding wheels 11, 12 to a receiving table 14, even if the magnet M is inclined due to a gap S1 between the table 13 and the grinding wheel 12 and a gap S2 between the grinding wheel 12 and the receiving table 14, the ring members 16, 17 come into contact with the magnet M.
