PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a permeated flux from being lowered because a cationic or nonionic surfactant is adsorbed on the surface of a membrane of a reverse osmosis membrane treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: A waste water treatment system 100 for treating the waste water which is discharged from a beverage charging facility 10 when a container is sterilized/washed and contains the cationic or nonionic surfactant is provided with: a disinfectant decomposition apparatus 110 for making the cationic or nonionic surfactant-containing waste water pass through a disinfectant decomposition catalyst 112 to decompose the disinfectant contained in the cationic or nonionic surfactant-containing waste water; a pH adjustment apparatus 120 for adjusting the pH of the waste water treated in the disinfectant decomposing apparatus 110 to≤6; and the reverse osmosis membrane treatment apparatus 130 which is used for filtering the waste water whose pH is adjusted to≤6 by the pH adjustment apparatus 120 and comprises a negatively-charged or pH-dependent negatively/positively-charged reverse osmosis membrane.
