<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire abrasion measuring device by image processing capable of precisely measuring width of an abrasion part of a trolley wire and miniaturizing a measuring device. <P>SOLUTION: A liner sensor image 26 picking up width of a trolley wire abrasion part using a line sensor 11 is created, and saved as an input image. A trolley abrasion portion is emphasized by binary-processing the input line sensor image 26. Noises of the binary-processed line sensor image 26 is eliminated, and edges of the trolley wire abrasion part are detected, so as to calculate width 31 of the trolley wire abrasion part by the detected edges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
