<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circumference-monitoring device capable of displaying an obstacle clearly on a display means so as to be easily visible to the driver. <P>SOLUTION: A circumference monitoring ECU 7 for carrying out differential processing of images photographed by a first camera 3 and a second camera 4 to extract three-dimensional objects, and detecting the three-dimensional object which is likely to collide with a vehicle 2, as the obstacle out of the extracted three-dimensional objects, is provided with an emphasizing display processing means 35 for preparing an emphasizing display frame W given to the obstacle, and a plotting processing means 28 plotting an emphasizing display prepared by the emphasizing display means 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
