<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input mechanism of an information terminal device which can reflect operation under halt as an input without retarding power consumption reduction, can adjust beforehand the status of output operated by the operation means, and can input also by operation of taking out or storing the operation means from or to the holder, even if the operation means is operated while a detection means which detects position transfer of the operation means halts, related with input mechanism in which input by position transfer in holder of stick-like operation means is possible, and an information terminal device equipped with the input mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The input mechanism 3 which enables input to an information terminal device by a stick-like operating means 3a is equipped with a detection means which detects an absolute position of an operation means 3a in a holder 3b which can contain the operation means 3a and/or existence of the operation means 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
