PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good recording result by preventing a paper end (especially a tip or a back end) from floating up from a platen when margin-less printing is performed on a sheet. SOLUTION: A paper guide lower part 50 provided by opposing a recording head 36 performing a recording on the sheet and regulating a gap between the paper and the recording head 36 by supporting the sheet, is equipped with a first rib 51 extending in the sub-scanning direction on a face opposing the recording head 36, a second rib 52 extending in the sub-scanning direction provided on the downstream side of the first rib 51, and a third rib 53 extending in the sub-scanning direction provided on the downstream side of the second rib 52.
