PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant insulation coil which has little defects such as cracks at the time of manufacturing and is remarkably improved in durable temperature (heat resistance) and long-term reliability, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant insulation coil 6 has a winding portion made by winding a conductive wire 2 formed with a heat-resistant insulation portion 5. The heat-resistant insulation portion 5 consists of a first insulation layer 3 formed of ceramic felt which is formed on the outer periphery of the conductive wire 2, and a second insulation layer 4 formed on the outer periphery of the first insulation layer 3. The second insulation layer 4 is formed of at least one kind of material selected among ceramic coating, ceramic felt, and ceramic long-fibre braid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
