CENTRIFUGAL PUMP AND COOLING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device capable of improving cooling performance by achieving efficiency of heat exchange in the central part of a heat transfer part and removing bubbles of air in a centrifugal pump smoothly. SOLUTION: This centrifugal pump 1 is provided with a first casing 9, a second casing 7 fitted into the first casing 9 to form a space for letting liquid refrigerant flow in the inside, and a bulkhead member 11 between them. One or a plurality of guide plates 9f for forming a peripheral turn heat transfer chamber 12 communicating with a heat transfer introducing passage 15 for introducing liquid refrigerant are protrudedly provided on any face of the first casing 9 or on a side where the bulkhead members 11 oppose mutually. The heat transfer introducing passage 15 is extended from one side of an absorption heat transfer chamber up to a position crossing the center, and the bulkhead member 11 is provided with a through hole 11a and a bubble escaping hole 11h.
