PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for production of a molded vulcanized rubber composition with excellent vibration-isolation property from a rubber composition with excellent moldability, and a vibration-isolator composed of the molded vulcanized rubber composition. SOLUTION: The process for production of the molded vulcanized rubber composition is carried out by the following process steps. (1) Mixing and kneading at least 100 pts.wt. of following component (A) a specific ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene copolymer rubber prepared by the polymerization of ethylene, a 3-20Cα-olefin and a nonconjugated polyene in the presence of a catalyst formed by a combination of a specific catalytic component and a specific organoaluminum compound (a co-catalyst component), 1-150 pts.wt. of (B) a reinforcing agent, and 1-150 pts.wt. of (C) a softener; (2) mixing the resultant mixed and kneaded component and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of (D) a vulcanizing agent, to give a rubber composition; and (3) heating and molding the rubber composition, to give the molded vulcanized rubber composition.
