PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for treating decubitus that can continuously obtain the effect of carbon dioxide in no need of the operation for generating carbon dioxide such as addition of water before the use or mixing of two chemicals. SOLUTION: The pad for treating decubitus comprises the basal layer 1 having water-absorbing property, the protective layer 2 that has the gas barrier property and is extended so that it may cover the basal layer 1, and a carbon dioxide-generating agent 3 that is enclosed between the basal layer 1 and the protective layer 2 and can be attached to the skin at the peripheral part 21 of the protective layer 2. The carbon dioxide-generating agent is composed of acid and carbonate salt and reacts with the moisture absorbed in the basal layer to generate carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide-generating agent.
