PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power output device and its auxiliary machine drive unit, capable of efficiently driving an auxiliary machine with a simple structure. SOLUTION: By switching sun gears S1, S2 of a power transmission device 20 connected to a hydraulic pump 54 with clutches C1, C2, the power output device and its auxiliary machine drive unit can perform switching between input side driving for driving the hydraulic pump 54 using power taken through an output shaft 10-1 of an engine 10 and output side driving for driving the hydraulic pump 54 using power taken through an output shaft 36 of a gearbox 14. This switching enables to change a rotational speed N_pump of the hydraulic pump 54, thus changing a discharge flow rate Qp of the hydraulic pump 54. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
