PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening method of a metallic sheet using rolls having uneven cross-sectional shape for pinching a metallic sheet using the rolls for pinching the metallic sheet with which the occurrence of passing-through troubles such as reduction in the area and fracture by the meandering of the metallic sheet is prevented and very stable shape straightening is performed without generating a line-shaped pattern extended in the longitudinal direction even when the material is a thin material of≤2 mm and a wide metallic sheet of≥1,200 mm under low tension and low straightening load without requiring large-scale equipment and the adjustment of the straightening load in accordance with the shape of the metallic sheet before straightening or the like. SOLUTION: This method is a shape straightening method of the metallic sheet in which the rolls having uneven cross-sectional shape for pinching the metallic sheet on which projecting and recessing parts formed in the axial direction of the outer layer are continued in the peripheral direction are arranged by piling them so that the projecting and recessing parts are fit to each other and the metallic sheet is passed through and pinched between the pair of rolls having the uneven cross-sectional shape for pinching the metallic sheet.
