PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ZSM-5 type zeolite membrane having an excellent acid resistance and a hydrophilia without using any structure specifying agent (templates such as tetrapropylammonium ion), and without carrying out a baking process, which solves the problem that the use of the structure specifying agent in manufacturing the ZSM-5 type zeolite membrane is expensive itself, essentially requires the baking process, and causes cracks and pinholes, etc. SOLUTION: Water gel is provided, the water gel containing alumina source, silica source, and fluorine compound, and containing no structure specifying agent, and the preparation composition being≥5 and≤30 in an Si/Al mol ratio, and≥0.5 and≤2.0 in an F/Si mol ratio. The manufacturing method of the ZSM-5 type zeolite membrane comprises the steps of mellowing the water gel, and thereafter, of inserting a support having seed crystals into the water gel to carry out a hydrothermal synthesis. The ZSM-5 type zeolite membrane obtained by the manufacturing method has the hydrophilia (water selective permeability) and the excellent acid resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
