In a system of feeding pigs, where a plurality of feed dispensers (2, 3) with their respective motor control units are connected with a feed silo via a supply pipe (6), the individual feed dispensers are controlled individually from a computer, said feed dispensers comprising a container (13) having a cover (18), where the containers have arranged therein a vertically adjust¬ able disc (15) having a hole which may be opened or closed by a control¬ lable flap (20), said cover being equipped with a plug (22) or a controllable, rotatable disc. The adjustable disc (15), the controllable flap (20) and the plug (22) or the rotatable disc may be controlled individually from the computer, which pro¬ vides the advantage that the type of feed or mixtures of feed as well as the amount of feed which is supplied to the individual feed dispensers, may be controlled entirely individually and be adapted to the needs of the individual pigs for feed composition, both as regards contents and amount. The invention ensures that the pigs are neither overfed, nor receive too little feed nor receive a wrong feed composition. |
