<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an air bag simplified in structure and reduced in weight. <P>SOLUTION: A first combustion chamber 31 and a second combustion chamber 35 surrounded by a cup member 41 are in a housing 11.
