<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform operation by recognizing operating keys without depending on sight. <P>SOLUTION: As one embodiment of the AV equipment, a television comprises a voice call key, as one of operating keys, in a shape or at a position different from the other operating keys and voice data notifying contents of each operating key are stored in a storage unit while being associated for each operating key. If the voice call key is once pressed, a voice call mode is started. At the same time, corresponding voice data are read from the storage unit and a voice based on the data is output from a speaker. Furthermore, if any other operating key is pressed during the voice call mode, corresponding voice data are read from the storage unit and a voice based on the data is output from the speaker. Moreover, if the voice call mode is once pressed during the voice call mode, the voice call mode is canceled.
