PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device capable of executing special reproduction before recording on a recording medium. SOLUTION: When image information to be input is recorded on the recording medium, it is judged whether or not to confirm a recording state (step S3). When the recording state is confirmed, the image information to be input is recorded in a region for special reproduction of a storage part (step S4). The special reproduction is executed on the basis of the image information stored in the region for special reproduction in response to input of a prescribed command (step S6).
