PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefinic hollow fiber-like porous membrane suited to a filter for removing protozoa like cryptosporidium, bacteria elimination and turbidity elimination in water treatment. SOLUTION: In the present invention, 0.1-6.00 pts.wt. lubricant component in relation to 100 pts.wt. polyolefinic resin is added to a polyolefin solution obtained by dissolving polyolefinic resin into 10C-20C higher alcohol, the mixture is subjected to extrusion molding to obtain the polyolefinic hollow fiber-like porous membrane. A limit viscosity of the polyolefinic resin composing the polyolefinic hollow fiber-like porous membrane is 7 dl/g or more. The polyolefinic hollow fiber-like porous membrane has a porosity of 60-90% and an average hole diameter preventing passing of 95% or more of latex standard particles of an average particle size of 0.05-1.0μm.
