PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal working oil composition capable of achieving a working performance at a high level without using a chlorine-based extreme-pressure agent. SOLUTION: The metal working oil composition comprises a hydrocarbon oil and 1-50 mass% of a cycloaliphatic polycarboxylate compound based on the total amount of the composition.
