PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of obtaining a suspension system provided with both of a damping mechanism and a detecting means, while restricting complication of structure. SOLUTION: This motorcycle 1 (vehicle) is provided with a front fork 10 provided between a front wheel 8 and a vehicle body and comprising a damping mechanism for damping the extending/shrinking force when the wheel 8 and the vehicle body 8 are relatively moved, and provided with a detecting device 20 for detecting extending/shrinking condition when the wheel 8 and the vehicle body are relatively moved. The damping mechanism of the front fork 10 comprises a cylinder part 25 provided in the front wheel 8, a rod part 24 provided in the vehicle body and having an insert hole 24d, and a piston part 26 fitted to the rod part 24 and arranged inside the cylinder part 25 and having an insert hole 26b. The detecting device 20 comprises a sensor part 32 provided in the cylinder part 25 and to be inserted into the insert hole 24d of the rod part 24 and the insert whole 26b of the piston part 26.
