PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching cosmetic having excellent bleaching effects, and capable of sufficiently preventing age spot/freckle; and to provide a bleaching cosmetic set obtained by packaging the bleaching cosmetic with a component for removing keratin to improve the bleaching effects by the bleaching cosmetic more. SOLUTION: The bleaching cosmetic is obtained by using the combination of hydroquinone or a derivative thereof, with at least three kinds or more of ascorbic acids selected from magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, sodium ascorbyl sulfate, ascorbyl tetrahexyldecanoate, aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate and sodium ascorbyl phosphate.
