PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage unit capable of improving the appearance of opening and closing lids and reducing the length of a space used in a housing direction as much as possible. SOLUTION: Second guide member 32 are arranged in such a way as not to be present in a region facing an opening 15 of a strip-material storage box part 6. The lids 34 are guided to the front of the opening 15 of the strip-material storage box part 6 by first guide members 26 (23 and 25) and the second guide members 32 (11aa, 11bb, 30a, and 30b) on the rear side of the first guide members 26 (23 and 25). The lids 34 are moved in an inward direction of the strip-material storage box part 6 against a biasing force of a coil spring 47. It is thereby possible to house the lids 34 in an overlaid state with their surfaces oriented to the outside of the opening 15 to shorten the length of their housing direction and also possible to use wide lids 34 to reduce the number of compartment lines between adjacent lids 34 when fully opened.
