<p>A linear drive for an injection moulding machine, comprises a rotationally driven actuating element (16), an electric direct drive (8) for the element, and a linear transfer element which can be moved axially by the actuating element. The actuating element forms at least part of the direct drive, and carries a rotor (12). The rotor is located in a stator (10), and a single bearing (20) supports the actuating element. The bearing is located in a housing, and an encoder for rotational speed, is coupled to the actuating element. The actuating element is in the form of a spindle, and the drive comprises a synchronous motor.</p> |
