<p>The invention relaters to hydromechanical, heat-mass exchange, power and medical instrument engineering and to other fields of human activity, where a continuous medium (gases, liquids and the mixture thereof) movement determines a functional and technical-and-economical efficiency. Said invention relates to a method for forming new-type flows consisting of streams provided with tornado-type jets, which are incorporated therein and linked with a boundary layer on streamlined surfaces drafting said layer and transferring a drafted mass to a main flow. According to the inventive flow-forming method, said streamlined surfaces are embodied in the form of alternate, initially smooth and curvilinear sections, wherein said curvilinear sections have different in sign curvatures, conjugate with each other at a point where they have a common tangential, the ratio of the curvature radii of said sections (R(+) convex and R(-) concave) makes it possible to form the inventive flow within a wide range of the variation thereof. Such contours are provided with a spherical surface having the R(-) curvature radius or with an elliptical concave surface having the curvature radii Rmin (-) and Rmax(+) interfacing with the initially smooth surface by toroidal convex curvilinear slopes having the curvature radius R(+) and/orhyperbolic or elliptical surfaces having, in the conjunction points with the initially smooth or concave surface of the contour, the curvature radii Rmin (-) and Rmax(+), whose ratio with the curvature radii of the concave section of a cavity situated within a range of 10-6= R(+)/R(-)=1, wherein the concave section is embodied such that it is smooth or provided with a radome and the ratio between the depth of each cavity H and the diameter thereof D is situated within a range 0.02=H/D=0.5.</p> |
