Aqueous preparation (I) comprises: (a) at least a water solution or water dispersible copolymer (A) with cationogen groups comprising: (i) at least one monomer with at least one protonizable nitrogen atom; and (ii) at least one additional copolymerizable monomer; and (b) at least one cosmetically acceptable carrier, where the pH of (I) is 4-6.
