<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten development design lead time of a designer. <P>SOLUTION: With the registration of a representative article name related to a component, a component search system 2 for design searches a first database based on an input component name, and outputs an extracted representative article name. With the registration of the library of each representative article name, when a representative article name is input, a CAD library system 3 reads out and outputs the corresponding library. Based on the input library, a CAD design system 4 can generate a component list constituted of the representative article names, and outputs the component list. With the registration of a production-optimal packaging appearance article name corresponding to each representative article name, and with the input of the component list, an ordering component information system 5 extracts the representative name included in the component list, so as to convert into a corresponding production-optimal packaging appearance article name, and outputs the production-optimal packaging appearance article name.
