<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system using the Internet for enabling a customer to determine commodity purchase with satisfaction by allowing easy virtual fitting of a commodity, and providing commodity information such as a cleaning method. <P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal has a means for inputting digital image figure data of the customer, a means for inputting selection information, a means for sending the data and the selection information to a commodity information management server, a means for receiving information from the commodity information management server, and a display means. The commodity information management server has an image commodity database, a commodity information database, an extracting means for extracting digital image commodity data and commodity information registered in relation from a commodity number specified on the basis of the selection information sent from the communication terminal, a means for generating fitting image data by combining the extracted digital image commodity data with the digital image figure data sent from the communication terminal, and a means for sending the fitting image data and the commodity information to the communication terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
