<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp a deterioration state of an on-vehicle battery, and make it reflect on battery management. <P>SOLUTION: A battery management system comprises retrieving data history, satisfying the conditions from a database, finding a current time change amount from the retrieved data group and a parameter group of an impedance calculation parameter (S3), storing a parameter group of the current time change amount and the impedance calculation parameters to the database (S4), and calculating the impedance, by using a least square method and performing straight line approximation (S5), when it reaches the calculation cycle of a battery deterioration coefficient and a battery temperature and the current time change amount stored to the database are in a set range. The battery management system enables accurate battery management, corresponding to deterioration of the battery, by calculating the ratio of the impedance and a previously having correction calculation impedance as the battery deterioration coefficient (S6) and transmitting the battery deterioration coefficient in a vehicle system (S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
