<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for creating various kinds of lighting effects even few lighting sources such as LEDs are used. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting device 10 comprises: a light source 12 for emitting light 14; and an optical transparency sheet 16 which is disposed in an optical path of the light 14 emitted from the light source 12, and on which dielectric antennas 22 used as diffractive grating elements are formed.
