PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively achieve a sinusoidal PWM current carrying sensor-less drive without a necessity of a rotor rotational position sensor.
SOLUTION: A motor controller is provided with a current detecting circuit 10, an induced voltage calculating circuit 15, and a position detecting circuit 18. Induced voltage signals eu, ev, ew are found from detected current signals iu, iv, iw based on a phase voltage equation. Position data D1 are output from the induced voltage signals eu, ev, ew at resolutions of 6, 12, 24. A phase controlling circuit 20 controls and outputs a current carrying phase data D3 at each resolution so as to maintain a proper current carrying phase in response to a rotation speed and a brake state. A voltage forming circuit 23 generates sinusoidal current carrying signals vru, vrv, vrw from a voltage signal sV and the current carrying phase data D3. A current carrying circuit 3 implements a PWM-modulation, and drives a switching circuit 7.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
