摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of tremendously enhancing the activity in electrochemical reaction of a catalyst metal and the manufacturing method preventing the generation of cracks in a catalyst layer in the manufacturing method of a catalyst for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having the catalyst layer of the extremely small amount of platinum carrying electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell contains a first process mixing an organic solvent having an amide bond or a sulfonyl bond with the solution of cation exchange resin, and preparing dispersion slurry of the mixed solution and carbon, and a process forming a mixture containing the cation exchange resin and the carbon by drying the dispersion slurry, adsorbing cations of catalyst metal to fixed ions of the cation exchange resin in the mixture, and chemically reducing the adsorbed cations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
