摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make suitable a control amount of a roll characteristic control device for a vehicle when the vehicle is turning on a low friction-coefficient road surface at a low vehicle speed in the roll characteristic control device for the vehicle. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 34 calculates a presumption lateral acceleration according to a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 31 and a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 32. The electronic control unit 34 calculates a twist angle of a torsion bar 21c at traveling on a high friction-coefficient road surface from the detected vehicle speed and a steering angular velocity and calculates a road surface friction reflection lateral acceleration reflecting the friction state of the road surface from a difference amount of the twist angle and a twist angle detected by a twist angle sensor 33. The electronic control unit 34 corrects the presumption lateral acceleration using the road surface friction reflection lateral acceleration when it is determined that the vehicle travels on a predetermined low friction coefficient road surface and controls the driving of an electric motor 15 according to the corrected presumption lateral acceleration.
