PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a sense of incongruity caused by movement of an AF lens for focal point fine adjustment in full push operation. SOLUTION: Object light L1 made incident through a photographing lens 31 is received by a photometry element 25, and the luminance is measured and a control aperture value is calculated. Also, the object light L1 is made incident on a focal point detection device 40 and a focal point adjustment state by the photographing lens 31 in the open aperture state is detected. Based on the detected focal point adjustment state, the AF lens 31b is moved to a focal position. An imaging element 14 is moved along the optical axis direction of the object light L1 by an element drive motor 15 by the portion of a deviation from the best image-forming plane caused a difference between the open aperture value and the calculated control aperture value.
