PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fatigue destruction specifying system capable of specifying the start point of fatigue destruction possible to occur in a test target and the presence of the progress of fatigue destruction by applying repeating load to the test target, and a fatigue destruction specifying method. SOLUTION: The fatigue destruction specifying system 1 is constituted of an infrared camera 2, an imaging device for forming a dissipated energy image from the temperature change quantity photographed by the infrared camera 2, a strain gauge 4, a strain gauge output device 5 and an excitation device 6. It is specified whether the fatigue destruction is progressed, on the basis of the dissipated energy image while specifying the start point of the fatigue destruction caused accompanied by repeating load by the strain gauge bonded to the test target (a).
