PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-be processed fuel injection valve high in operation responsiveness, and reduced aging effect of the operation responsiveness. SOLUTION: A cutout part 41 is formed in an end part on a movable core side of a fixed core 40. Since squeeze force is not generated in the cutout part 41, the cutout part 41 is a starting point for separating the integrated movable core and a needle from each other and they are quickly moved to a valve seat side, when the energization of a coil is stopped. Therefore, the operation responsiveness of the integrated movable core and needle with respect to the stop of the energization of the coil is improved. Since there is imbalance between magnetic attraction force between the cutout part 41 and the movable core, and magnetic attraction force between the land 42 and the movable core, the fixed core 40 and the movable core are constantly attracted to a land 42 side of the fixed core 40 and stably operated to secure a stable contact face. Therefore, the aging effect in contact area of the fixed core 40 with the movable core is reduced to stabilize a fuel injection amount. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
