PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine having a stator capable of improving the flexibility of a shape in a teeth section, and efficiently transmitting a flux at a protrusion section at a top end of the teeth section to the teeth section. SOLUTION: In this rotary electric machine which has a rotor with a magnet attached at a rotor core in which a rotating shaft is penetrated in the center of a plate surface and the stator in which a stator winding is wound around a stator teeth section of a stator core, and which is retained so as to be rotated with an air gap between the rotor and the stator, the stator teeth section 19 is composed of a teeth section inner part 19a made of an electromagnetic steel plate, and a teeth section outer part 19b made of magnetic powder formed in a layer state with the teeth section inner part 19a covered. The stator teeth section 19 has a top end protrusion section b in which an end surface on an air gap a-side is widened.
