PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a surface-treated anti-glaring plate by applying a surface treatment solution (C) to the anti-glaring surface (10a) of an anti-glaring substrate (10) and drying the coated anti-glaring substrate (10) to form a surface treatment film (11) without causing irregularity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the surface-treated anti-glaring plate is constituted by bringing an excess amount of the surface treatment solution (C) containing silicone oil into contact with the anti-glaring surface (10a) for 6 sec or above and removing the excess surface treatment solution (C) to apply the surface treatment solution (C) to the anti-glaring surface (10a). Usually, after a masking film (12) is peeled from a masking film laminated anti-glaring substrate (13) prepared by laminating the masking film (12) on the anti-glaring surface (10a) of the anti-glaring substrate (10), the surface treatment solution (C) is applied to the anti-glaring surface (10a).
