PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment machine realizing energy saving during operation and having excellent heat efficiency. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment machine comprises a lid part 20 for opening/closing the upward opening part of a garbage storage vessel 2 for storing garbage, a drying heater 7 for producing heated air circulating in the garbage storage vessel 2 and a blast fan; includes heating means for heating to dry the garbage, a deodorizer 17 having a catalyst 23 for deodorizing vapor generated when the garbage is heated and dried, and a catalyst heating heater 24; and configures to protrude a part of the deodorizer 17 in the garbage storage vessel 2. Accordingly, residual heat generated from the catalyst heating heater 24 in the protruded deodorizer 17 can be utilized to the circulating heated air by passing the circulating heated air through the protruded deodorizer 17, thus the garbage treatment machine can be provided which realizes energy saving during operation and has excellent heat efficiency.
