PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner mounted with batteries which have a long charge and discharge service life and can be charged at high-speed. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a heat receiving part for absorbing heat generated by secondary batteries 7, a heat radiation part 14 radiating the heat stored by the heat receiving part, a pipe 15 connecting the heat receiving part to the heat radiation part 14, a pump 11 circulating liquid in the pipe 15, and a tank 12 storing the liquid. This vacuum cleaner is constituted to cool the secondary batteries 7 by liquid cooling so that the secondary batteries 7 are highly efficiently cooled in the discharging when the air volume is narrowed and also in the charging to improve the durability of the batteries and usability of the vacuum cleaner.
