PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling box moving device for appropriately moving lined raising seedling boxes to the shelf part of a wagon through operating by pushing the back part of the lined seedling boxes to a direction crossing the line direction of the raising seedling box. SOLUTION: This raising seedling box moving device has moving mechanisms 22 and 23 which move the raising seedling boxes to the shelf part 5e of a wagon 5 through operating by pushing the back part of the lined seedling boxes 1 to a direction crossing the line direction of the raising seedling box 1. The moving mechanisms 22 and 23 are provided with a pushing part 25 which opens the interval of adjacent raising seedling boxes 1 toward a direction of pushing operation by the moving mechanisms 22 and 23 through operating by pushing the back parts between the adjacent seedling boxes 1. The device comprises moving the pushing part 25 to a pushing position, opening the interval of the lined raising seedling boxes 1 toward a direction of pushing operation by the moving mechanisms 22 and 23, operating by pushing the back part of the lined raising seedling boxes 1 by the moving mechanisms 22 and 23, and moving the pushing part 25 to a return position with the operation of pushing the back part of the adjacent raising seedling box 1 by the moving mechanisms 22 and 23.
