PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platinum catalyst composition excellent in homogeneous dispersibility and in long-term preservation stability, and to provide a method for producing the same and a fluorine-containing curable composition containing the platinum catalyst composition. SOLUTION: The platinum catalyst composition comprises a platinum complex (A) having a vinyl group-containing organo siloxane represented by formula (1) or (2), and an alkenyl group-containing fluorocarbon polymer (B) having a unit of -(CF(CF<SB>3</SB>)-CF<SB>2</SB>-O)-, and is produced by mixing the components (A) and (B) in such a ratio that the amount of the alkenyl group of the component (B) becomes at least 3 mol to one mol of platinum atom of the component (A) and then by a heat treatment, wherein, R is mutually identical or different non-substituted or halogen substituted mono-valent 1-8C hydrocarbon group, a is an integer of at least 1, b is an integer of at least 0, however a+b is 3-8.
