PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of precluding electric corrosion. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing is structured so that a retainer 14 is installed between an inner ring 11 and an outer ring 12, balls 13 as rolling elements are arranged in pockets 14a of the retainer 14 in such a way as rolling freely, and that an ionic liquid as the base oil of lubricant is encapsulated in the spaces between the balls 13 and the retainer 14 and other places, and if necessary, a thickening agent formed from carbon black is included in the lubricant.
